Not only apparently, it¡s banned from all airlines. Surstroming is fermented fish, or rather rotten, and it is distributed in cans that, due to fermentation, have a convex lid and are under pressure. In airplanes, due to the lower air pressure, it can explode and make the plane uninhabitable and useless for transporting people.
