This kind of shit is so patronizing and humiliating. It makes me see RED!!! I fucking hate employers like this and I hope they go out of business soon.
Then I can just call in, and say that I was too sick to go to the doctor.
And the management will still make up some stupid reason to make you come to work, I bet.
Make sure you breathe and cough on the boss when you’re sick. They’re probably old and fat, might even smoke cigars, so higher rate of serious complications. And hey, they specifically wanted this right?
Man… Not to get the vegans riled up.
But… If this is our attitude towards human labor, imagine what our REAL attitude is toward meat production. 🤨

It’s not even a single idiot making this policy, this is common practice in America, all workers must come in if they are sick, no matter what. If you can stand for more then 1 minute, you can work 8 hours. They don’t care how many you infect, coworkers or customers.
I think if bosses are willing to make this stuff a policy, they should be willing to just go ahead and be directly infected with whatever illness is being spread around the work place.
Bosses HAVE to mandatorilly be made sick and THEN they have to come in to work and be put in their office where they communicate via intercom. It’s only fair the boss suffers directly the inevitable illness of ANY workers.
They probably wouldn’t even care, most of them do absolutely nothing anyways. I’d much rather be sick and have to stand around doing nothing while pretending to be busy, or in an office typing up one spreadsheet, then having to cook food on a line, run a cash register/bagging, or prepare 1/3 of a project due in 2 days.
Most of them are also completely delusional on where they stand in the company and capitalist hierarchy, and would probably see this as a privilege/ sacrifice they have to make to get +4 dollars an hour then the regular workers.
If bosses are willing to die for corporate, then they should make everyone happy and do so.
Is this the ‘‘American dream’’ they all talk about? Truly horrific.
The American Dream never existed. It was a lie sold back in the 50’s to gullible white Americans and immigrants ripe for exploitation.
These days I’m starting to wonder if Americans are just a completely different set of humans.

Covid wasn’t enough to teach them why going to work sick isn’t smart, least short term businessman
Covid has taught them that they very much can treat workers like gutter shit, force them to work with threats of firing and that people will still continue to work for them. And if they do get too sick to work, or even die - there are others to take their place.
